1. Do I need a group to participate?

​

     Nope! You are welcome to come as an individual. Prior to the event, we will be randomly placing participants in groups for the group event.


2. How should I RSVP?

     RSVP online from our home page.

3. Where is the Yale Brain Bee held​​?


    It will be held online this year! We will be using GatherTown to bring neuroscience to your homes!

​

4. Who can compete in the Yale Brain Bee? 


     Students in grades 8-12 are welcome to compete. 

​

5. What is the schedule of events for the day? 


     See the "Schedule" tab above. 

​

6. How should I study for the Bee? 


     You will be studying from the Brain Facts book. See the "How to Prepare" tab above.

1. Where do I park my car?

2. What is the cost of attending the Yale Brain Bee?

​

     There is no cost!

​

4. What does day of registration (9-9:30AM) consist of? 

​

     Parents will be asked to sign waivers (alternatively, parents can sign the waivers ahead of time so they don't have to accompany you to registration). At registration, students will also be given a name tag and necessary info for the day.

​

5. What can parents do? 


     Parents are welcome to observe the competition and attend the faculty talks with their children, but lunch is not provided. Parents can also check out the Yale Art Gallery, explore the Yale campus or stroll along the Shops at Yale.

Parking options at Yale

For parents interested in attending the competition and talks, or spending the day around New Haven.

There are numerous parking options around the Yale campus. A map of nearby parking garages for you is available here.

​

Limited metered street parking is also available. We recommend parking along Hillhouse AVE. All Yale lots are open to visitors except in those areas designated by signage.
